In the Process of Adding Photos of Some of our Adventures from Around the WorldTo give everyone a view into the Hiking, Camping and Shooting activities that we have done I am in the process of adding a few photos from some of our larger Adventures around the world.
To make these photos easy to view I have split them into the following geographic regions: 1) North America, 2) Europe. 3) Oceania, 4) Asia, 5) South America/Central America/Caribbean, and 6) Middle East. Since selecting, editing and adding the photos takes a little effort I am adding the Adventures by region. We hope that you enjoy seeing the photos as much as we enjoyed the activities that went into making them. Finally Bought a New Poncho Well I finally bought a new poncho. Although this doesn't seem like a big purchase the time it took me to find what I was looking for was crazy. For years I have had a "Kelty Pack - backpacking poncho with pack extension". Since it had seen better days I wanted to replace it with another poncho that had a backpack extension that could fold up when it was not being used. Evidently that was the problem. I could find lots of cheap ponchos. I could even find lots of good quality normal ponchos. But finding a good quality poncho with an extension turned out to be a real pain. I finally bought an "Equinox Terrapin Nylon Poncho with Pack Extension" and it looks like it will do the job. You can see more details about my new poncho on the Hiking/Raingear page.  |
