In many ways Shooting is much more personal than Hiking and Camping
People have very specific preferences about the type, caliber and brand of firearms they like to shoot
Our site tries to focus on the common general areas (e.g. safety items, targets, cleaning supplies, storage, etc.,) and the specific firearms that we prefer to shoot (.22 caliber, 9mm, 5.56mm, .223 caliber, 7.62mm, .410 bore and 12 gauge)
Consequently much of the information on our site, and the associated specific gear, will be applicable to everyone
But some of the specific firearm information, and associated gear, will not directly apply to people that shoot other types/calibers/brands of firearms
How does Indoor Shooting differ from Outdoor Shooting?
The basic differences have to do with the type of firearms that can be shot outside versus inside
This drives Outdoor Shooting to require more accessories and more range gear
When shooting - don't try to take everything to the range. Take only what you really need for the firearms you plan on shooting that day.
